I like the expression but like many here it feels like the picture is concentrated on the black parts of the picture. Would have wanted a bit more detailt on her face aswell perhaps.

Thanks for the feedback on the photo people! I agree the black is heavy, but because it's "nothing" it doesn't attract too much attention (to me at least ) I'll play around with the crop though and see what difference it can make!

I love the composition... Very artistic the way of the light goes in and finish in black! I very much like the colored face in addition with the grey tones... I love the crop. Very unusual and this is one of the rare times where it works. I also enjoy the look on the woman's face, very beautiful and it certainly draws you in. The selective desaturation feels slightly out of place here though. Mainly because there's such a strong contrast between the black/white parts and the colored parts and because the background seems to be so sharp. Something like a split-tone might've been a better choice for this, in my opinion. Great stuff, Jacobine!
