Had some fun taking drop shots for the first time :)
This is one of the better photo's, it's a lot harder than I thought!
Sorry for the bad title :p

I like the title and this is not bad for a fist try!
Here is a tip - try to use colourful liquids in black or white BG.

i think this is great.. very nice drop capture.. the background is not distracting imo.. i believe in fact that adds a great mood to the composition.. and here its the very soul of this picture and a very important element..

great sharpness and btw i love it in B&W..

Great first try! I did some drop shots as well a few months ago, and got the same water formation you have here. I found out though, that if you want to get some drops that are more tree/mushroom like you can drop two drops, one right after the other, trying to get the first drop to hit the second drop's splash coming back up. This is obviously easier said than done, but I think giving that a shot would be well worth it in the end.

A very good first try indeed! The background, yes it needs improvement. Try a deep colored bowl maybe or some other colored surface. Keeping experimenting!!

great sharpness. i just wish the drain was used in a different way. right now it looks distracting because it's quite detailed and is out of the composition.
